‘The Witcher’ Teaser Trailer Revealed at Comic-Con

Netflix has released a teaser trailer for their upcoming The Witcher series at the San Diego Comic-Con. Things are looking pretty good for the monster hunting witch fucking Geralt of Rivia.

Production seems to be top notch, in a Game of Thrones way. Geralt fights monsters and humans, but there is an obvious lack of witch fucking.

Still no news on when the series will launch, but there better be witch fucking, or this will be a huge disappointment.

The Witcher Netflix Series Looking Sharp

Netflix

The Witcher is one of the series that I always wanted to get into, but I never had the time to invest in it. You can tell that a lot of effort went into making the games and the fanbase who follows the franchise is pretty strong. Also, the game series is a fucking national treasure in Poland, based of the novels by Andrzej Sapkowski, so it has that going for it too.

The franchise is also making the big leap to television with a Netflix series. It has a decent cast, with Henry Cavill playing the witch fucker Geralt. The cast is rounded out by Freya Allan as Princess Ciri and Anya Chalotra as the sorceress Yennefer.

Looking pretty good. I was apprehensive when I first heard the news that Netflix was doing this, but it seems like a high quality production. Maybe inspired a bit by Game of Thrones? With that series ending, there’s a void of hot fantasy based sex on TV.

The Witcher is set to debut on Netflix in 2020.

Castlevania Animated Series Coming to Netflix

If you live in the northeastern United States, you’re experiencing prime Netflix binge watching weather. Too bad the Castlevania animated series is not out yet, so I’m forced to watch bad daytime television as I wait for things to calm down, so that I can go out into the elements and throw out my back clearing the snow from the driveway, like an animal.

Adi Shankar, who produced Dredd and The Grey has announced via his Facebook page, that a Castlevania animated series in indeed in the works.

Castlevania is a Netflix Original Series with Season 1 launching in 2017 and Season 2 in 2018. Furthermore, I personally guarantee that it will end the streak and be the western world’s first good video game adaptation.

P.S. A.V. Club, stop saying mean s*** about me.

P.S.S. Kevin Kolde is the man and Seasons 1 & 2 were written by Warren f’ing Ellis.

I have high expectations for this. Netflix has been on a roll with their content, but we’ll have to wait a to if this new animated series continues the trend.
